Sara and Ethan are so thankful for ALL of the prayers, and well wishes from everyone who has left messages for them on this site. At this time, in order to protect the privacy of their family, updates on Ethan's condition will be sent via e-mail through close friends and family. This will continue to be a long and difficult journey for them from a physical and spiritual standpoint. Please continue to keep them lifted up in prayer.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, Amen."
Hello Sara and Ethan, I am a long time friend of Dayna and she emailed me requesting prayer for Ethan. I have a grandson named Ethan. It's a very nice name! I will continue to pray for you all. GODS comfort is amazing and I know HE will use his children everywhere to minister to you. Peace and comfort be yours in Christ Jesus. Ethan, you are loved and cared about by hundreds of people you have never met, but because of GODS LOVE we are here for you! I'm in Texas.
Because of Christ,

Hi Sara and Ethan,
I have finally gotten back home from the road and am able to get back onto your sites to see what's been happening with you both. I am so amazed at what a remarkable young boy you are Ethan. Your strength and determination are an inspiration to us all. You ROCK!!
And to you Sara, your example to all of us parents goes deep. I'm so proud to count you as a friend. Each day my prayers and those of my family and friends go out to you as we ask our Father in heaven to walk you both through this trial. May you continue to be blessed minute by minute. Keep strong in your faith for all of us......

My aunt saw a poster of Ethan and his situation at a store in Agoura and sent me the link to your website. She sent me the link thinking I could maybe send you an inspirational note because I was burned as a young child and it sounds like he was burned on many of the same body parts as I was burned. It must be so difficult for both Ethan and the rest of the family but it sounds like both he and you are being very strong. From my experience being strong and determined is one of the most important things. When I was in the hospital there was another little girl who did not have the will to work hard during her physical therapy sessions and ended up having limited mobility where she was burned. I was lucky enough to have a very supportive and "cheering on" family, as well as tremendous doctors, who got me through those grueling physical therapy sessions and the result was complete mobility even under my arm and my neck where I too was burned. I too had many skin grafting surgeries (many of the skin grafts didn't take and had to be reworked) but after the whole ordeal I now live a normal functioning life. I am 38 years old- a college graduate, a master's degree as well, married with two young children. Actaully many days go by without even a thought of me being burned (eventhough there is a visible scar)- which is mostly due in part to my psychological therapy once I got out of the hospital.
I hope that this little story of my life gives you more hope so that you can continue with the strength that you already have. I will be sending my prayers your way and I wish you all of the best - a full recovery for Ethan- it is possible!!!
